Banker wins pay 1:1 in the simplest description of baccarat, but at most tables the winning Banker bet is charged a cut, and that cut is the baccarat commission. This page explains where it comes from, works one example in pesos and shows what changes at a no-commission table. It belongs to the family of tables described on the JILIEVO Live tab and the tables it lists.
What the baccarat commission is
The standard rule of the game is that a winning Banker bet is paid at 1:1 minus a commission of 5%. The Banker hand wins slightly more often than Player in the long run, and the commission is how the table evens that out. A winning Player bet is paid 1:1 with nothing taken.
| Bet that wins | Customary standard-table treatment |
|---|---|
| Player | pays 1:1 |
| Banker | pays 1:1, less a 5% commission |
Banker commission, worked on ₱1,000
Take a ₱1,000 bet on Banker that wins at a standard table.
- A 1:1 win would pay ₱1,000 on top of your stake.
- The 5% commission on that win is ₱50.
- You receive ₱950 in winnings, plus your ₱1,000 stake back.
The same ₱1,000 on Player pays the full ₱1,000. The table’s help screen shows how its commission is applied.
How a no-commission table changes the payout
SA Gaming’s own baccarat page describes No Commission Baccarat as a variant in which no commission is paid when Banker wins. The payout stays 1:1 for Banker wins, except when Banker wins at 6 points, when the payout is halved. SA Gaming adds that players can adjust their strategies because the payout scheme is different.
| ₱1,000 Banker bet that wins | Standard table | SA Gaming no-commission table |
|---|---|---|
| Banker wins on any total except 6 | ₱950 | ₱1,000 |
| Banker wins on 6 points | ₱950 | ₱500 |
The trade is plain: you give up the 5% charge on most wins and accept half pay on the Banker 6.
No commission on JILIEVO Live
On 1 October 2026 the Live tab’s Evolution list included a title named No Commission Baccarat, next to dozens of Speed Baccarat tables. SA Gaming’s description covers SA Gaming’s own table, so do not assume a table from another supplier pays the same way. What SA Gaming says about its baccarat variants lists the variants and side bets it publishes.
Open the table you choose and read its help screen for the exact paytable and limits. Sic bo works the same way: the rules window decides, as the sic bo game rules and bets explains.
Reading a baccarat table before you bet
Four checks take under a minute.
- Find the Banker line in the help screen and see whether a commission is named.
- Find the 6-point rule, if the table has one.
- Note the minimum and maximum bet for Player, Banker and any side bet.
- Watch two hands before you place a chip.
This site holds a 21 and over line for every game.
