Studios and casinos are two different kinds of company, each under different regulators, and treating them as one is the most frequent slip in this part of the subject. The studios covered by these pages are those whose titles appear in Philippine-facing lobbies, and each is described by who it is, what it is actually licensed to do, and whether it publishes a return-to-player figure that anyone can check.

5 pages, with each covering one single entry and none summarising several. Wherever a field above says “not published”, the entry’s own page spells out who would have had to publish it.

Each entry in a paragraph

Each gets just enough to tell you which page is worth opening.

JILI explained

Gives no founding year and no headquarters. Slots, fishing games, table and card games, plus bingo are what it builds.

Its page starts with the record from PAGCOR (Electronic Gaming Licensing Department). PAGCOR EGLD counts several JILI slot titles among its approved electronic games.

It publishes no RTP. No figure is quoted by this site for its titles, and the ones going around elsewhere are third-party estimates that contradict each other.

The Evolution entry

Founded 2006, based in Stockholm, Sweden. Builds live dealer casino, live game shows.

On its page, Malta Gaming Authority comes up as the first record. That licence numbered MGA/CRP/187/2010 sits registered to Evolution Gaming Malta Limited.

It publishes RTP, so any figure given for one of its titles can be traced back to the studio. Consistency is the key here: third-party sources report the same RTP figures for Evolution’s game-show titles, which is why they’re marked as publishing RTP..

Pragmatic Play in full

Founded 2015, based in Gibraltar. Produces slots, live casino, bingo, crash games, virtual sports.

On its page, Malta Gaming Authority comes up as the first record. Pragmatic Solutions MT Limited stands behind licence MGA/B2B/619/2018.

It publishes RTP, so any figure given for one of its titles can be traced back to the studio. One published RTP per title is all Pragmatic’s game pages show, always the highest figure in a set.

PG Soft explained

Founded 2015, based in Valletta, Malta. Builds slots.

On its page, Malta Gaming Authority comes up as the first record. MGA/B2B/435/2017 is the licence number registered to Pocket Games Software Limited (C 76195).

It publishes RTP, so any figure given for one of its titles can be traced back to the studio. PG Soft keeps RTP inside its game data, though the page a visitor loads never shows it, that field renders as a blank dash even while the number rides along in the payload the server delivers for that page.

The FA CHAI Gaming entry

Founded 2019, and states no headquarters. Produces slots, 3D fishing games, arcade games, table games.

Curacao Gaming Authority is the first record on its page. OGL/2024/1184/1010 is the licence number; the company behind it is WiseInNet Technologies B.V., which is the one operating FA CHAI’s site.

It publishes RTP, so any figure given for one of its titles can be traced back to the studio. Of the seven studios covered here, FA CHAI is the easiest to check, because its own public games listing displays RTP directly..

Game providers details are best checked within the game itself

None of this has to be accepted on faith. Behind each licence claim on these pages sits a public register that you are free to consult yourself:

  1. Where a Malta licence is concerned, use the MGA authorisation portal and enter the company’s name, not the brand’s. Often the licensee is a subsidiary with a different name, as with Pragmatic Play’s Malta licence, which Pragmatic Solutions MT Limited holds and nothing called Pragmatic Play does.
  2. Where a UK licence is concerned, enter the account number into the Gambling Commission public register. A licence that is active lists its activities along with the start date of each, and any regulatory settlement against the holder shows up on that same record.
  3. Where a PAGCOR EGLD listing is concerned, the studio’s approved-games PDF is on pagcor.ph. See what it actually approves, which is game content for licensed operators. When the document fails to say the studio holds a licence, then it does not.
  4. Looking for an RTP figure, open the studio’s own page for the specific title in question. When the figure is absent there, no comparison site is able to provide it, and when two comparison sites contradict each other, that contradiction is itself the result.

The thing most often got wrong here

Here the difference that counts most is that between a PAGCOR operator licence and a PAGCOR EGLD listing. With an EGLD listing, PAGCOR has approved a studio’s game content for the operators it licenses to use. A studio does not hold it as a licence, and it gives no indication about any casino that carries those games.

Of the seven studios below, four hold only that. Their pages state this in plain words, since “PAGCOR listed” and “PAGCOR licensed” differ by one word yet are worlds apart, and the second is usually what a reader hopes to have found.

Finding game providers at JILIEVO

  1. Start by signing in at JILIEVO, then open the game lobby.
  2. Pick a studio in the lobby filter, or enter a title name in search.
  3. Stake range and paytable are both shown once you open a game’s info screen, so read them before you play.
  4. Decide a session budget before you start, and play a low stake on studios that are new to you.

FAQ

Do any of these studios put an RTP figure on public display?

Evolution, Pragmatic Play, PG Soft, FA CHAI Gaming. The others do not, and rather than borrowing a number from a comparison site, this site gives no RTP for their titles.

Does a studio licence protect a player?

Not directly. Covering the company that makes the games is the scope of a studio licence. A player's route for complaints goes through the operator's regulator, and that is a separate licence held by a separate company.

Does JILIEVO carry all of these studios?

Open Games in the JILIEVO lobby: each game tile names its studio, so you can see which ones are live for you. Every studio is described here through its own published record.

Where does a PAGCOR licence part ways with a PAGCOR EGLD listing?

Operators that PAGCOR licenses may use a studio's game content once it has approval, and an EGLD listing is that approval. An operator holds a PAGCOR licence, and it gives the operator authority to run a casino. The first is held by four of the studios here, and the second by none of them.

Why do some studios here lack a founding year or headquarters?

Because they do not publish one. JILI disclose neither on their own sites. No primary source stands behind the figures for both that circulate on affiliate listicles, which is why none is repeated here.

Does a GLI or BMM certificate prove a game is fair?

An independent test laboratory has put the random number generator and the paytable through an examination against a standard, and that is what it means. It counts for something without being a licence, and neither says anything about the operator that runs the game.
